Enter your nominations for the 2022 Scottish Games Awards.
The Scottish Games Awards have been created to recognise and celebrate achievement within the Scottish games ecosystem in its broadest definition. Entries are welcome from anyone for individuals or organisations working in Scotland, or for games in which the majority of the work was undertaken in Scotland.
Entry Criteria
Given the disruption caused by Covid-related lockdowns and the cancellations of many major events since early 2020, the entry criteria for the 2022 Scottish Games Awards have been designed to encourage as many entries as possible. Therefore entries are encouraged which focus on work undertaken or games released from January 1st 2020 to August 31st 2022.
All entries for the Scottish Games Awards 2022 are FREE.
Entries are open until 17:00 on 12 September 2022
Games Entries
Games from any genre, for any platform, using any business model are welcome. Games can have been created by an individual, a team, a professional organisation, or a collective. Games do not require to have had a 'commercial release' in order to qualify for entry. As long as the game was publicly available (i.e. playable by an audience) they may be entered.
There are two main games categories:
- Small Budget Games (£0 - £10,000)
- Large Budget Games (£10,000 - upwards)
An honour system will be used for these criteria and budgetary evidence will not be required for judging purposes.
For the 2022 Scottish Games Awards, games entries must have been released (publicly playable) between January 1st 2020 and August 31st 2022.
For judging purposes, 10 x copies of the game must be made available via download links, or redeemable store codes.
